ANCHOR HOUSE

A full renovation of a large late victorian house in South London with a new loft and side return extension added.

 

Keeping all original features, the ground floor extension was done sympathetically.

 

The back doors were replicated in new timber and the original external wall was retained with its working fireplace, creating distinct areas within the open plan design.

​

The house has an eclectic, arty feel with the existing floorboards stained black and dark exterior paintwork. Mid century furniture and vintage paintings sit comfortably with inexpensive new pieces and prints by emerging artists.
